Program Summary

PSM is a performance standard. It requires companies to have certain programs in place, but companies may develop their OSHA PSM programs in a way that they think is most effective based on the hazards of their processes and the make-up of the organization.

This seminar will introduce attendees to the OSHA PSM architecture, exploring all 14 key elements of a comprehensive PSM program. Links between PSM elements and the integration of PSM with existing company policies will also be discussed. The focus will not just be on learning the elements of PSM, but on the practical application of those elements in the real world.

Perfect for those who are undergoing, or will undergo an OSHA PSM audit, this seminar will be presented in two 6-our long sessions held on nonconsecutive days to minimize the attendee’s time away from work or disruption of their personal schedule.

The seminar will include lectures as well as break-out sessions. Real-life Case Studies will be used where appropriate. Discussions of the Case Studies will be a group participation activity. OSHA has been invited to speak on the elements of Module 7, on Day 2 of the series.

You may attend either one, or both days of the seminar. Continuing education credit in the form of PDH’s (Professional Development Hours) will be awarded.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to assure your place.
