NWF Hike & Seek
National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is holding its annual "Hike and Seek" event for families to get kids and parents outside, hiking and exploring their parks, and also participating in fun nature activities.
NWF is in need of volunteers who like to work with kids and families, like to "teach" kids (most are either pre-school or early elementary age) and can lead them in a quick activity about plants, ammals, insects, birds or amphibians. NWF provides all the instructions, materials and examples of how to do the activity, which takes about 5-10 minutes.
Volunteers are needed for 4 hours on Saturday, October 19. Specifics are below.
