Where: Highpoint State Park – Parker Trail Loop
When: Sunday, November 3, 2019 @ 9am
On Sunday, November 3rd AHMP-NJ will be holding one of our CHMMunity service events.
We welcome all interested members, family members, associates and others to assist in the maintenance of the Parker Trail in Highpoint State Park. We will meet on Deckertown Turnpike at 9 am for the two mile Parker Trail maintenance. We anticipate clearing some overgrowth on the trail, so bring loppers, pruning shears, and a bow saw if you have them. Ron Kurtz will bring trail markers and additional tools for those that don't have their own. To clear this trail normally takes about three hours with a group of five people. If there are more volunteers or we finish early, we can clear the entrance to the adjoining trail.
Attendees will want to bring at least two (2) bottles of water and wear comfortable work clothing (long pants & shirt, hiking boots, work gloves, hat, etc.). If you have bear repellent and/or bug spray please bring it.
Any questions, please contact Lisa Sibrel 201-232-4548.
For location, please see the Park map.
