PASSION for Safety & Sustainability at L’Oreal

Jay Harf, VP EHS&S at L’Oreal Operations Americas will discuss the internal holistic approach to safety excellence at L’Oreal as well as L’Oreal’s Sustainability program, Sharing Beauty with All.


Jay R. Harf, CSP, CPEA, CSHM is the Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety, & Sustainability for L’Oreal Americas based in Clark, NJ. His professional responsibilities include the management of all Safety, Health and Environmental systems for L’Oreal Americas Zone which is comprised of North America, Hispanic Zone and Brazil. Ultimately, Jay is the passionate leader of the SH&E zero incident culture for L’Oreal Americas Zone which encompasses 42 manufacturing and distribution locations in North America, Latin America and South America.

He is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, a Board Certified Safety Professional, a Board Certified Professional Environmental Auditor and a Certified Safety and Health Manager. In addition, he is also an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Special Governmental Employee (SGE). Jay is a Doctoral Candidate in the Leadership program at Alvernia University in Reading, PA and participates on the Faculty Advisory Committee at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).
